Flip Image Online

This flip image tool mirrors a photo: flip horizontally to swap left and right (handy when a selfie shows reversed text), or flip vertically to turn it upside down. You can flip both ways at once to get a 180 degree mirror image.

Flipping only mirrors the pixels, with no resizing or redrawing, so quality is preserved exactly when you export PNG. Everything runs inside your browser, so the image is never uploaded to a server.

FAQ

How is flipping different from rotating? Flipping mirrors the image (swaps left-right or top-bottom), while rotating spins it around its centre by an angle. Flipping both horizontally and vertically gives the same result as a 180 degree rotation.

Does flipping reduce quality? No. Flipping only reorders pixels, with no resampling. A PNG export is identical to the source, just mirrored.

Is my image uploaded anywhere? No. Everything runs in JavaScript inside your browser and the image never leaves your device.

Why does transparency disappear when I choose JPG? JPG does not support transparency, so a transparent PNG background becomes white. Export PNG to keep it transparent.
