Password manager: store & encrypt passwords online

A password manager that stores and encrypts passwords entirely in your browser, VSM lets you keep every login credential locked behind AES encryption without creating an account or installing software. Only your master key can unlock the vault, so your data stays private even if your device is compromised.

Benefits of VSM password manager

  • AES-256 encryption makes stored passwords unreadable without your master key, even if the exported file is stolen.
  • Runs 100% client-side — no data is ever transmitted to a server, giving you full control over your credentials.
  • Store unlimited entries: websites, apps, SSH keys, API tokens, Wi-Fi passwords, and more.
  • Instant search and filtering so you find any login in seconds rather than scrolling through lists.
  • Completely free with no ads, no subscription, and no email required to get started.

Use cases for the password manager

  • Individuals juggling dozens of online accounts who want unique, strong passwords without memorizing them all.
  • Freelancers and remote workers who need to securely store client portal credentials, project management logins, and billing systems.
  • Developers managing credentials across staging, production, and third-party services without pasting secrets into plain-text files.
  • Small teams that need to share a set of service passwords securely by exchanging an encrypted file instead of messaging passwords in clear text.
  • Anyone migrating away from sticky notes, spreadsheets, or browser-saved passwords that offer no encryption.

How to use the password manager

  1. Open the tool at vsm.vn/passwords and create a strong master key — this passphrase encrypts and decrypts your entire vault.
  2. Click Add entry and fill in the service name, username or email, and the password you want to store.
  3. The entry is encrypted immediately; export the vault to a file for safe backup before closing the tab.
  4. To retrieve credentials later, return to the tool, load your saved file, enter your master key, and copy the password you need.

Frequently asked questions

Does VSM ever see my passwords? No. Encryption and decryption happen entirely in your browser. VSM servers never receive your credentials or your master key.

What happens if I forget my master key? Your vault cannot be recovered without the master key — that is by design. Store the master key somewhere safe, such as a printed note kept offline or a secondary secure location.

Can I use this on multiple devices? Yes. Export the encrypted vault file from one device and import it on another. Because encryption is portable, you are not locked into any single browser or machine.

Is this a replacement for dedicated password managers like Bitwarden or 1Password? VSM is ideal for individuals and small teams who want a quick, zero-install solution. For enterprise-grade sync, role-based access, and multi-user management, a dedicated platform may better suit your needs.
