FAQ
Are these bank rates? No. These are indicative mid-market rates from international data. Banks and exchange counters quote different buy and sell rates, usually less favourable, so treat this as an estimate.
Can I use it for customs or accounting? No. Those require the official rate published by a bank or government authority at the time of the transaction.
How often are rates updated? Hourly. The last update time is always shown under the converter.
Why does it sometimes say the rate is cached? If fresh data cannot be fetched, the tool shows the last stored figures with a warning instead of showing nothing. Verify before any real transaction.
